Primary Election, May 19th, 2026

Important Dates:

December 31st, 2025: Last Day to change Party Affiliation and be eligible to vote in Primary. Any changes made to party affiliation after this date will make the voter ineligible to vote in the upcoming Primary Election. KRS116.055

April 4th, 2026: Portal Opens for eligible voters to request a mail-in absentee ballot. KRS 117.085

April 20th, 2026 by 4:00pm: Last day to register to vote for the Election. KRS 116.0452

April 20th, 2026 by 4:00pm: Last day to make address changes to current registration for the Election. KRS 116.0452

May 5th, 2026 by 11:59pm:  Portal Closes for mail-in absentee ballot request for the Election. KRS 117.085

May 5th-8th, 2026 & May 11th-13th, 2026: Early Excused Voting for the Election to be held at the Barren County Clerk’s Office

May 14th-16th, 2026: No Excuse Early Voting for the Election to be held at the Barren County Extension Service Office Thursday-Saturday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
